Below is a message from the West Boylsotn Economic Development Task Force regarding a meeting with West Boylston businesses. I hope to see a good representation of the businesses represented at this meeting.
"Next year marks an important year for the Town of West Boylston as we do the first update of our Town’s Master Plan. Our Master Plan is a strategic plan for the Town which speaks to both our community development and our economic development. Over the next year, the Town will be looking at itself with a critical eye, trying to find ways to improve our operations and service to the community, including the business community. It is from this Master Plan that the annual goals and objectives of the Town are developed.
In that spirit, the West Boylston Economic Development Task Force would like to invite all West Boylston businesses to a “Business Round Table” where we can share ideas and provide input to the Town officials on how to improve the Town for the business community. The information gathered by the Business Round Table will be used to help the Town craft the update to the Town’s Master Plan and the Town’s strategic goals.
The Business Round Table will be held on November 16, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Offices at 127 Hartwell Street. The Town will be represented by Town Administrator Leon Gaumond, the Building Inspector/Zoning Enforcement Officer, the Planning Board, DPW Director, and the Board of Selectmen. The meeting should be a good exchange of ideas to improve the business climate in West Boylston. Please RSVP to lgaumond@westboylston-ma.gov to ensure a seat at the meeting.
