Lunch is served daily, Monday through Friday at 12 noon at the Senior Center. Please call 2 days in advance for reservations. Our lunch menu is on our COA Calendar.
Mission Statement
The West Boylston Council on Aging will identify, promote and provide for the needs of the elder citizens of West Boylston through services which consist of community participation as well as social, nutritional, health, recreational and educational programs.
Members of the Council On Aging are appointed by the Town Administrator.
Marcia J. Cairns
Mrs. Cairns was appointed as Director of the West Boylston Council on Aging in February 2003. She was employed by Umass Memorial Home Care And Hospice as a Rehabilitation Nurse/Case Manager for several years.
She received an Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Becker College, Worcester, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a minor in Health Education from Worcester State College. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology, from Harvard University Partnership.
She is a former Board of Director’s member of the United Cerebral Palsy of Metro Boston, Watertown, Ma. She was inducted as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and a member of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She is a member of and past president of the West Boylston Fire fighters Association Ladies Auxiliary.
