West Boylston Recycles!
West Boylston has adopted a Pay-As-You-Throw trash model which goes into effect on Wednesday, July 1,2009. Only trash contained in an Official West Boylston Green Bag will be collected at curb-side. Trash will continue to be collected weekly, along with the weekly curb-side pickup of recycling. The recycling program and the collection schedule will not change. We encourage you to participate in curb-side recycling, which will reduce the number of West
Boylston Green Bags that your family will need.
West Boylston Green Bags will be available as of June 12. They will be sold in packages of 10 and are available in two sizes. The following area locations will stock the bags:

- To be collected, West Boylson Green Bags must close and weigh less than 40 pounds.
- Any trash that is not enclosed in a West Boylston Green Bag will not be collected and our trash contractor will place a rejection sticker on the bag or item.
- You may continue to place the West Boylston Green Bags inside your trash barrel or just place the bag at your curb.
The monies collected from the sale of the West Boylston Green Bags will be deposited in a revolving fund that will be used to defray trash disposal costs.
